Charge the LINK reader using the USB cable provided. It may take up to 3 hours to reach a full charge the first time. You'll know it's fully charged when the red charging indicator light goes off. The app will also display battery life.
Next, press the power button to turn it on and follow the remaining steps.
To turn the reader off, press the power button again.
NOTE: Please be sure to charge LINK before your first round and re-charge every time you finish playing. If you are storing a reader for an extended period of time (e.g. off-season), please fully charge before putting to storage and re-charge every 3 months if storing longer than that.
Attach TAGS To Your Clubs
Attach one tag to each club in your bag, including your putter. Use a twisting motion to gently insert the post into the club grip. Be sure not to over-tighten.
Start Golf Pad And Scan A Tag
Touch the tag to the back of your phone. Golf Pad will prompt you to select the club the first time a new tag is scanned. Repeat this step until all your tags have been assigned to a club.
OPTIONAL: Our Custom Clubs feature let's you compare performance and add detailed descriptions of each club. To learn more, click here. You can add these details at any time.
Ensure Bluetooth is turned on in your phone settings. Open the Golf Pad app on your phone, select settings, then Golf Pad LINK / TAGS. - Enable LINK, select Use LINK reader, then tap SET UP - Follow the on-screen instructions. Flashing blue and green lights indicate the reader is searching for a device to pair with. Once paired, the blue and green lights will blink slowly. When the green light blinks quickly, this indicates the reader is searching for GPS location, a slow blink indicates location has been detected. - Next, scan each tag with the wireless reader to assign your clubs.
