How could anyone in their right mind not want to play golf at a course that has a castle at its epicenter? Well, at Bro Hof Slott Stadium Course, that is what you get. Located on the banks of the stunning Lake Mälaren, the two courses at this course have become familiar with plaudits and awards since it opened in 2007. Robert Trent Jones Jr designed one course, and Bro Hof Slott created the other.

Great Northern is undoubtedly one of the coolest golf courses in Scandinavia. The remote course is located on Funen, Denmark’s third-largest island, which is populated by only a few thousand people. Great Northern is one of the most prestigious golfing destinations in Europe. The course’s unique layout and Nordic design were created by the renowned company Nicklaus Design. With seven artificial lakes and surrounding natural beauty, Great Northern is quite simply a golfing paradise.

Falsterbo Golfklubb is one of the oldest golf clubs in Sweden. It was established in 1909. The course sits on the south-western edge of the country, right next to idyllic sandy beaches and beautiful nature reserves. Stockholmers come here in their droves every summer, so there are plenty of amenities and activities nearby to the course. The natural beauty surrounding this course makes it one of the coolest golfing vacation destinations out there.

Robert Trent Jones Jr designed the two golf courses at The Scandinavian. Less than an hour’s drive from Copenhagen, both courses consistently rank highly as the best in Europe. The courses are varied enough to make you want to return again and again. And the stunning Danish forest that surrounds the course creates a gorgeous natural environment. The Scandinavian is also worth visiting for its clubhouse, which was designed by Henning Larsen. It connects the two courses, and it is one of the coolest club-houses you will ever see.

Lofoten Links – Norway

Do you want to play golf on top of the world? This Arctic Circle golf course enables you to do pretty much that. Lofoten Links is a one of a kind golfing destination. Located on the island of Gimsøya, the course sits upon an ancient Viking burial ground.
